the Artist

Dan Zinno was born in Ohio in
1976 and grew up in Providence, R.I. He earned his BFA from
Boston University before relocating to Los Angeles in 1998.
After 8 years in the Southern California, the artist now works
out of his home studio near Austin, TX. Zinno has exhibited
his work in major cities across the country including New York,
Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, and Baltimore.
In February 2008, Zinno debuted his Erosion
series in a solo exhibit at the Annarella Home in Georgetown.
In October, the artist's work will be included in the Fall Art
Hop, a juried competition and exhibition presented by Georgetown
Art Works. J Space Gallery in Marble Falls will host a 3-artist
show titled A Common Thread featuring Zinno's new work
in November. Also in November, Zinno will take part in a group
show of encaustic work at Bay6 Studios in Austin titled Fused
Expressions. The Artist recently appeared on Good Day Austin
on FOX 7 and KUT News w/ Julie Moody discussing his work. |

The artworks of Dan Zinno are part of collections spanning
eleven states. The artist is now working on several corporate and
private commissions as well as expanding his Erosion series.
